Elite Carbon Fiber Boots In Euro 2012

The Euro's have just begun, and already a large amount of players have been seen wearing carbon fiber boots.

The Euro's provide a chance for all boot companies to put out their best boots on display. As many of you know, the 'Elite Series' of Nike was discontinued shortly before Euro 2012. The carbon fiber boots were no longer produced, and have yet to be featured on any of the Nike boots. However, it seems that many professionals favor the carbon fiber sole plates, and have chosen to wear them over the standard sole plate. These players include the likes of Andres Iniesta and Mario Balotelli.  (Sorry for the pictures cutting in on the side, I made them as large as I could so you could get a good look.)

It appears that the far left player may have carbon fiber Vapor 8. Or then again, it could be the lighting.

Another pair of carbon fiber cleats. A black out as well. Any ideas on what boot this is?

As you can see, many players are choosing to sport carbon fiber. I saw one pair of Total 90 Laser IV's with the carbon fiber and one Nike Mercurial Vapor 8, but it's mainly been the Tiempo and Ctr360.

Could this possibly be hinting the return of the Nike Elite Series? Leave a comment below about what you think.
