Pele Sports were kind enough to send me another pair of boots: 1970's!
I had not been expecting a box in the mail, and was very surprised to see that the box was from Pele Sports. The box contained an awesome shirt, and of course, some very nice 1970's. This has been a boot I have always been looking forward to trying, and I am anxious to get these on the field.
The first thing that popped out at me was the softness of the kangaroo leather. The upper is pure kangaroo leather, all the way up to the heel plate. Even though the boot is somewhat heavy, the amount of comfort that it offers makes up for it 110%. I have never worn such a comfortable boot, especially right out of the box. The soleplate also features a very cool design, printed with the number 10 in numerous places.
The tongue is something that I haven't experienced on any other boot, and even though I don't think it will have much affect, I'm anxious to see how it affects my touch, dribbling, etc. The stud configuration feels solid, and the boots seem very stable. I have a feeling that this boot is going to last me a while, for it's built like a tank. I'm looking forward to getting out onto the field with these bad boys! Expect a follow up after I try these out, and also expect a full review. Speaking of reviews, I will have the Trinity review out in a couple days. Please visit my websites Facebook page, and check out Pele Sports as well! Thanks you Pele Sports!
