The CTR360 Maestri III haven't yet been officially announced, but images are already flooding the internet. The new boot seems to be toned down from the Maestri II, most likely to create a lighter, more appealing boot. Here are a few close up images of the Maestri III.
Nike seem to have increased and enhanced the pass pad on the third edition in the silo. The "pass pad" now covers almost the entire instep, going back to the heel counter.
The new upper is drastically different from the previous Maestri's, eliminating all the control pods. The new upper features small dimples, similar to those found on the unreleased Vapor 9 (rumored). I'm not sure what Nike was thinking when they did this drastic change, for it takes away from the boots "control" aspect.

Here are the official specs of the Nike CTR360 Maestri III:
Nike CTR360 Maestri III FG - Black
The New Nike CTR360 Maestri III FG is now lighter and more durable than before thanks to the next generation Kanga-Lite II, re-designed lateral control areas and the new 3D Pass Pad. Ball Control and passing pace are key to winning a soccer match and the new Maestri III FG soccer shoe delivers both with a technical yet familiar aesthetic. For use on firm natural surfaces.CTR360 Maestri III Upper: Next generation Kanga-Lite (Kanga-Lite II) with ACC technology provides optimal ball control in any condition. 3D control pad gives the passing and receiving edge.CTR360 Maestri III Midsole: Molded EVA sockliner with Poron insert reduces stud pressure and provides contoured arch and heel support.
CTR360 Maestri III Outsole: Lightweight materials combine to create a highly responsive and comfortable plate. Stud geometry designed for optimal 360 degree movements.
As you can see, Nike have almost reinvented the Maestri. The new Kanga-Lite II sounds interesting, as does the 3D pass pad. These boots are rumored to be released sometime this summer.
The main launch colorway is a main yellow base with a black center. This is very similar to the soon to be released Vapor 8 colorway, which I showcased in a later article. The secondary launch colorway is similar to the main one, except instead of yellow, the main color is red.
Here are a few pictures of Iniesta wearing the boot in Barcelona training:
Will anyone be picking up a pair of these boots? What are your guys thoughts on these?
