In the world of soccer, "speed boots" have always been among the most desireable of boots on the market. But only until recently has Adidas shown us what a speed boot can really be. The release of the latest Adizero has completely revolutionized the term "speed boot" and incorporating the all new Adidas Micoach technology into the boot is the icing on the cake. Read on to hear about my unboxing and first thoughts of the Adidas F50 Adizero micoach.

I have always wanted a pair of these amazing boots and was finally fortunate enough to get my hands on a pair for a deal that I absolutely could not let get away from me. The high energy/white/electricity colorway has held a special place in my heart since the first time i saw it. Its bright, its vibrant, its flashy, and its somewhat obnoxious, but i love it and it looks way better in person than online. The overall design of these boots is brillant.
The Adidas Sprintskin upper drastically reduces the weight of the Adizero. The upper is extremely thin and is exceptionally soft out of the box. The boots are built with an ultralight insole carefully designed to add little to the overall weight of the shoe. A second pair of insoles are also included. These secondary insoles are included to give the player an option of a comfier, but heavier, insole. These comfort insoles only add about 0.5 oz to the overall weight and I highly recommend using them. The outsole is built with Adidas Sprintskin to provide lightweight stability. The soleplate has an all new stud configuration, consisting of 11 triangular studs, that provides optimal 360 degree movement and improves your balance at top speeds.
On paper, this should be one of the most innovative, ground breaking, and high performance boots ever, but with such a thin and soft synthetic upper you have to question the boots durability. Other than durability the only other concern I have is the with the comfort level. straight out of the box they feel incredibly light on your foot but they are also very tight. My foot is really not all that wide and this is why im concerned about the boots comfortablility. Hopefully they feel better after the break-in period.
Overall, I am really excited to start testing these boots. My expectations are high and I'm sure they wont disappoint. Check back soon for my first thoughts/impressions of the Adidas F50 Adizero.
