All soccer players are currently looking for a cutting edge product to help take them to the next level, whether it be boots, clothing, or accessories. Competing against big companies like Gatorade and Powerade, H2O Overdrive is looking to land a spot in all soccer players kits. With years of research and science to back it up, H2O Overdrive has crafted a drink to bring all players to the next level.
The two drinks were created by Innovative Health Solutions LLC (IHS). IHS was founded in 2008 , and has since dedicated themselves to creating the highest quality sports drinks in the World. H2O Overdrive features two main products, H2O Overdrive Hydrate along with the standard H2O Overdrive.
H2O Overdrive Hydrate
Sporting 30 essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and a balanced protein to carbohydrate ratio, it's obvious that a lot of time and research has gone into the Hydrate drink. The drink is suitable for any type of athlete (professional, amateur, recreational), and is endorsed and supported by many professional level athletes.
Taking a quick glance at the nutritional facts, it's obvious why this could easily rival bigger corporations like Gatorade. The drink has no sugar, four grams of protein, and 12g of complex carbs. Along with that, it has a long list of vitamins that are meant to give players an extra little push when they need it most.
Having only taken a few sips of the drink- haven't had time to test in game- I can tell you that it does taste good. Just to clarify, it isn't great. The drink, since it is packed with vitamins, does have a different taste to it. It certainly isn't like Gatorade (which is to sweet in my opinion), but can be more easily compared to Vitamin Water. I do enjoy the taste better than Vitamin Water, but it's the only similar drink I could think to compare it to. I tried the Tangy Tangerine Freeze flavor, and it tastes like enhanced Tang mix. It was better than I thought, so kudos to H2O Overdrive for creating a good tasting drink.
The H2O Overdrive Hydrate features 3 main flavors. These include Jostaberry Grape Explosion, Lychee Lemon Rush and Tangy Tangerine Freeze.
H2O Overdrive
The Overdrive is very similar to the Hydration: It features 30 vitamins and minerals, and has a low sugar content of 3g. The Overdrive has a total of 8g of protein, along with 24g of carbs.
The Overdrive is mainly focused on providing athletes with a large energy boost to help through extensive workouts and long games. The drink also helps provide rapid recovery and muscle re-hydration. The protein is essential for cellular re-hydration which excels energy, protein synthesis, muscle function and recovery. Having said this, the drink seems vital for soccer players, especially during latter parts of the game.
I had a few sips of the Overdrive in the the same flavor as the Hydrate. (The three flavors of Overdrive are identical to those of the Hydrate) To be honest, the taste of the Overdrive is hard to describe. It certainly isn't the greatest thing I've ever tasted, but like the Hydrate, it isn't terrible. I enjoyed the Hydrate more however.
Since these two drinks are very similar from a "first-look" point of view, there isn't much else to say about the Overdrive until I test the drink out to see how it performs.
Review Coming Soon
I will have a full review of both drinks in the coming weeks. The review will feature multiple opinions from fellow teammates.
