Pele Sports Trinity 3E Review

Pele Sports Trinity 3E Review
Thanks to Pele Sports for these boots!
The Trinity 3E re-defines what speed is. The super lightweight boot is the first of its kind, with new and improved technology that looks to improve your game. I want to give a big shout out to Pele Sports for providing me with these boots for this review. Go check them out at www.pele-sports.com

          Comfort
Having never worn a speed boot, I was skeptical about how the Trinity would feel. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were extremely comfortable! I was able to wear these right out of the box, and wore them in a game after about two training sessions. I experienced no discomfort, but I did find the thinness of the upper to cause severe pain when I was cleated. This is expected with any light boot, so nothing taken away from Pele Sports for that. I still have yet to experience any problems as far as comfort. The insole is nicely padded and creates a comfortable cushion for your foot. I think Pele Sports did a great job with the comfort of the boot.
        Durability
This is where I experienced some problems with the Trinity 3E. Since the boot lacks a lot of material (to make it lightweight), I knew that I was probably going to experience some durability problems. Overall, the boot held up fine. However, at the toe box, the upper began to separate from the soleplate. This also occurred slightly along the instep, but not quite as severe. A few blades of grass and some mud began to gather in the separation, which stretched it even more. It doesnt look like it will totally separate anytime soon, but I doubt these boots will last more than 1-2 seasons. Once again, this is an issue with most speed boots, not just the Trinity. I'm just surprised that this issue arose after only four-five training sessions.

        Performance
I had very high expectations for the Trinity. Pele Sports advertised the boot as a game changing boot, that made you faster and more agile. I was very satisfied with how the Trinity performed. It made you feel faster, and always kept you on your toes. The tri-pod stud formation took a little getting used to, but once I got used to it, I felt faster than I've ever felt. A few of my friends and I did a speed test comparing the Trinity to the Puma V1.11 and the Nike Superfly, and we saw our 100 meter sprint times improve by up to a whole second. If a boot can make you a whole second faster, why wouldn't you buy it? I was very pleased with the upper as well. It's very supple, and provides a good feel to the ball. I love how smooth and soft Pele Sports made it! Overall, I was very pleased with how the Trinity performed.

        Negatives
I had a few minor problems with the Trinity, but nothing too major. I found that the studs seemed to be a little long, like they were meant for SG. I slipped a few times while on FG, but it wasn't a major problem. The worst part about the Trinity was the separation I experienced. With their next release, Pele Sports needs to make sure that they fix this issue. But like I said, this is a re-occurring problem with most speed boots. It's time for a company (hint-hint Pele Sports) to change this issue.
        Recap

I was very pleased with this boot. It made me faster to the ball, and provided a comfortable experience to go along with that. Other than the durability problem, I loved these boots! Just a little thing though, did anybody find the laces to be very long? I thought they were too lengthy.
